- Inject medium into the calibration column, and the liquid level of the medium aligns with the maximum scale of the column
- Close other inlet valves and open the valve between the calibration column and the pump, allowing the pump to draw medium only from the calibration column
- Start the pump and time it, carefully observing the reduction in liquid volume within the calibration column over a specified period
- Compare this with the theoretical volume to analyze the pump’s metering accuracy during operation
- Adjust the pump’s precision based on the results
